Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth workflow
Manage and lead restaurant staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Maintain high standards of food presentation, service, and hygiene throughout the restaurant
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and control costs effectively
Develop and implement service procedures and operational standards
Ensure effective communication between the restaurant, kitchen, and management team
Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and the implementation of specials and promotions
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Requirements and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations
Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Professional, presentable, and guest-focused
South African citizenship or valid work permit
