Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of service across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations and supervise staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
Ensure adherence to all operational policies, procedures, and quality standards
Support and mentor team members, providing guidance and training as required
Coordinate between departments to ensure seamless communication and efficiency
Monitor and report on performance metrics, staff productivity, and guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Assist with reservations, events, and special functions as required
Perform shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records
Requirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within a luxury hospitality environment
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Professional appearance and guest-oriented approach
Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
Reliable transport to and from work
Package Details:
3% Provident Fund contribution
Annual increases and performance-related bonuses
Meal allowance of R25.00 per shift (for salaries below R25,000)
Subsidised staff transport available on Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Wellington routes
Salary: R20,000 – R23,000 (Negotiable DOE) | Live Out
