Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Ice Cream Vendor on a fixed-term contract to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will provide excellent service, assisting guests with their orders and ensuring a delightful guest experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Set up the station in the morning and maintain cleanliness throughout the day
Prepare ice cream desserts for guests
Assist guests with their orders and make suggestions
Maintain the appearance and sanitation of the stand
Take inventory and place orders to maintain stock of supplies (ice cream, cones, cups, etc.)
Store all ingredients in the relevant kitchens
Operate card machine for payments
Report daily transactions to the manager on duty for POS processing
Main Requirements:
Grade 12
Preferably 1–2 years’ previous hospitality experience
Availability to work within opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused
Basic maths skills
Strong attention to detail, productivity, and efficiency
Self-disciplined and able to cope under pressure
Flexible, accountable, and professional
