My client, a contemporary restaurant based in the Franschhoek area, is seeking to employ a BREAKFAST Chef de Partie who can consistently deliver a high-quality breakfast offering with exceptional timing, presentation and efficiency. This role suits someone who enjoys early service, thrives in a well-organised environment and takes pride in delivering a refined morning experience.
Purpose of the Role: Oversee and execute breakfast service, ensuring quality, timing and consistent presentation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Executing breakfast menu items to standard
- Managing early-morning mise-en-place
- Ensuring timely service and plating consistency
- Monitoring section cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting with menu improvements when required
Criteria
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant culinary certificate or diploma
- Strong technical abilities and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and professional kitchen standards
- Willingness to learn, collaborate and maintain high kitchen standards
Market related salary / flexible hospitality hours apply / this role is reserved for a Chef who reside in or within close proximity to Franschhoek
