Wine Lounge Assistant Manager

We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our tasting room. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while assisting with staff supervision, wine sales, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and oversee daily tasting room operations

• Supervise, motivate, and assist with training of tasting room staff

• Ensure high standards of guest service and brand representation

• Manage wine tastings, sales, memberships, and POS procedures

• Assist with stock control of wines and retail items

• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally

• Assist with staff scheduling and opening/closing procedures

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

• Act as Manager in their absence

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or a wine estate environment

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Passion for wine and customer service

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak periods

• Own transport

• age between 20-25

Working Hours:

• 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

• 5 days during the week (Mon–Sun), with two days off
