Main function
To promote wine & liquor products to potential and existing on-consumption and off-consumption customers and support the supply and distribution of products to customers, in order to grow the customer base and increase sales.
Key responsibilities:

Identify and develop new customer opportunities through market research and the distributor’s existing client base.

Plan and execute monthly sales call schedules, routes, and servicing cycles in collaboration with distributor sales representatives, particularly within the on-consumption channel.

Visit and service both prospective and existing customers across on- and off-consumption channels, independently or alongside principals and/or re-distributor sales teams.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by presenting the product portfolio and educating customers on product characteristics, presentation, food pairings, and consumption preferences.

Monitor and evaluate sales performance by customer, product category, range, and individual items to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs to suppliers, sales management, and customers, including recommendations for improvement.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets

Work closely with on-consumption warehouse buyers to monitor, plan, and control stock levels effectively.

Contribute to problem-solving initiatives within the supply and distribution chain to improve efficiency and service levels.

Establish and nurture relationships with wine clubs, festival organizers, and other event partners.

Attend and host wine dinners, tastings, festivals, and promotional events.

Plan and manage in-store tastings to drive brand awareness and sales.
