We are looking for a dedicated and organised Tasting Room and Events Coordinator to oversee our tasting room operations and manage events and functions on our beautiful wine farm on the Kromme Rhee Road, just outside Stellenbosch. What You Will Do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tasting room, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and well-organised environment for all guests.

  • Coordinate and manage wine tastings, including scheduling and guest flow, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

  • Oversee events and functions such as weddings, corporate events, and wine festivals, ensuring flawless execution on the day.

  • Work closely with the marketing and hospitality teams to promote tastings, events, and special offerings.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels of wines and merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory control.

  • Handle guest enquiries, bookings, and feedback with professionalism and attention to detail.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations during tastings and events.

  • Contribute creative ideas to continuously enhance guest experiences and increase visitor engagement.

What We Are Looking For:

Essential Skills And Experience:

  • Proven experience in tasting room management or event coordination, preferably within the wine or hospitality industry.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage both daily operations and events.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking and inventory management systems.

  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Advantageous:

  • A relevant qualification in hospitality or event management.

  • 2–3 years’ experience in wine tourism or event coordination.

  • Familiarity with the Stellenbosch wine industry.
