Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
• Understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Creative approach to menu planning and dish development
• Strong organisational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high standards are maintained
• Prepare and cook dishes to the restaurant’s established quality and presentation standards
• Support menu planning and contribute to creative dish development
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Assist in maintaining smooth workflow and coordination between kitchen and service staff
