Stellenzicht Wines is looking for a reliable and skilled Chef de Partie to join our wine tasting room kitchen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen and staff, preparing and presenting simple, high-quality food that complements our wine offerings and enhances the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and efficiency
  • Prepare and present platters, pizzas, light meals and tasting plates
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Work closely with Front-of-House staff to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Stock control, prep, and waste management
  • Introduce and implement seasonal menu items designed to pair with wines

Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong kitchen experience
  • Solid basic cooking, food preparation and presentation skills
  • Good time management and ability to handle busy tasting periods
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Good understanding of flavour profiles and food-and-wine pairing
  • Passion for seasonal, local produce and artisanal products
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
