Simonsig Wines seeks to appoint a Workshop Assistant.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with the maintenance, repair, and servicing of tractors and other farm equipment (e.g., ploughs, harrows, sprayers).
· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and tire checks.
· Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
· Ensure the workshop and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
· Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
· Assist with other farm maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
· Basic mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in tractor mechanics.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
· Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
· Relevant technical qualifications or experience.
· Experience working with agricultural machinery (advantageous).
