Our client, a well-established wine estate based in Franschhoek, has an exciting opportunity available for a Payroll, HR & Finance Offier to join their team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and reliable, with a strong sense of punctuality. The successful incumbent thrives in a structured environment, works well with people, and demonstrates a solid understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): *Payroll: Process monthly payroll accurately and on time; Maintain employee payroll records; Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.); Handle payroll queries from employees; Prepare payroll reports for management. *HR Administration: Maintain employee records and personnel files; Track leave, attendance, and employee records; Support basic HR compliance and reporting requirements. *Financial Administration and Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management (including balance sheet reporting); Monitor and report on stock control; Track and report on debtors and creditors; Reconcile financial data for reporting purposes; Assist with financial analysis and internal controls.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or related field;
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role;
  • Experience in payroll processing (Sage VIP will be advantageous);
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
