La Motte Wine Estate in the Franschhoek Valley requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to join our Marketing Team as Assistant Storeman.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- receiving and issuing of wine stock, packaging and promotional material
- stock administration
- preparing and issuing of orders
- general cleanliness and maintenance of storeroom and related areas
- manning and security of storage areas
- assistance with Marketing and Tasting Room related activities
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
- grade 12
- previous experience in a similar position
- physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy items
- a positive attitude with the ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues and guests
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work weekends and public holidays
- basic computer skills
- sober habits
- valid driver’s license and forklift license will be to applicant’s advantage
