Loxtonia | Ceres | Temporary Tasting Room Assistants

We are looking for customer-focused Temporary Tasting Room Assistants to join our prestigious Tasting Room team at Loxtonia Cider, situated in Ceres, Western Cape, on an ad hoc basis as shifts become available. The successful candidate should be energetic, passionate about cider and wine and have the professionality to work with clients.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and upselling of ciders, wines and merchandise to customers;
• Hosting, preparing and presenting the tastings to clients;
• Assist with the events and special functions in the Tasting Room;
• General housekeeping & cleaning tasks in the Tasting Room;

 Minimum Qualifications and Skills requirements:

• Grade 12;
• Bilingual in both Afrikaans and English;
• Basic wine knowledge and experience (advantageous);
• Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills – with guests, management, and colleagues;
• Well-groomed and presentable;
• Reliable and dependable;
• Effective and dedicated team player;
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays;
• Own transport is essential
