We are a small, quality-focused wine farm seeking a motivated Farm Manager & Farm Manager to take a hands-on role in both the cellar and on the farm.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in every aspect of wine production and farm management, from vineyard to bottle, and who thrives in a small-team, practical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • All winemaking operations, including involvement in harvest planning, cellar work, maturation, bottling, and quality control.
  • Reporting to the consultant winemaker 
  • Vineyard oversight: seasonal planning, monitoring vine health, spray programs, coordinating vineyard practices
  • Day-to-day farm management, including repairs and maintenance, infrastructure, equipment, and general operations
  • General administration and excellent record keeping.
  • Working alongside a small team of staff
  • Assisting with tastings, visitors, and sales support when required
  • Problem-solving and maintenance — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves role

Requirements

  • Formal qualification in Viticulture and/or Oenology (or strong practical experience)
  • Proven experience
  • Practical farming and maintenance skills
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Ability to multitask  
  • Passion for wine, farming, and rural living
  • Valid driver’s licence & own transport
  • Excellent Computer skills
