Our Client, a luxury boutique hotel, Bistro and Wedding & Events Venue, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, is looking for a passionate and detail-driven Junior Events / Venue Coordinator to join our team.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and wants to grow within a premium estate setting.
 
About the Role
 
You will support the planning and execution of weddings, private functions, corporate events, and seasonal estate activations. From client communication to on-the-day coordination, you will help ensure every event reflects the elegance and excellence of our clients property.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
• Assist with event inquiries, quotations and site visits
• Prepare and distribute function sheets
• Coordinate suppliers and décor setups
• Oversee venue preparations and event setup
• Support on-the-day event execution
• Ensure smooth communication between Kitchen, FOH, Hotel and Security
• Track deposits and assist with invoicing
• Deliver exceptional client service at all times
 
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
 
• Has 1–2 years Events/Venue coordination experience
• Is highly organised and detail-oriented
• Communicates professionally and confidently
• Remains calm under pressure
• Is willing to work weekends and public holidays
• Has a passion for weddings, décor, and guest experience
• Has strong administrative skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
 
Remuneration: R18 000 – R20 000 (DOE)
Start Date: *Priority Position*
