Our client, a supplier of wines to the liquor on-consumption market through its association with a major national distributer, is seeking to appoint a target-driven Junior Sales Representative with a proven sales track record to join their growing team.
This position is ideal for an energetic self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow within the business.
Duties will include: *New business development *Meeting stores on a monthly basis, promoting sales and receiving orders *Achieving monthly sales targets *Merchandising of stock within outlets *Special events & product marketing *General sales administration *all other duties related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage;
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant sales experience, preferably in the FMCG environment;
- Excellent customer-relations & communication skills;
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
- Drivers license & own reliable vehicle;
- Willingness to travel & work flexible hours (overtime & some weekends - festivals, etc.).
