Rueda Wine Co. is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Sales Representative to grow our presence in the Johannesburg market.
We import and distribute an exceptional portfolio of wines from South Africa, France and Italy, supplying both private clients and trade customers, including restaurants, wine shops, hotels and wine bars.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a passion for wine with strong sales ability and commercial drive.
Key Responsibilities
• Grow sales within the Johannesburg market
• Develop and maintain relationships with restaurants, wine bars, retailers and private clients
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Conduct tastings and client presentations
• Manage allocations and new release offers
• Maintain regular client contact and sales reporting
• Represent Rueda Wine Co. professionally within the industry
Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years sales experience in the wine industry
• Strong wine knowledge (WSET Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised and professional
• Commercially driven and target focused
• Comfortable prospecting and cold-calling new clients

• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Smartphone and laptop
