Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly organized Restaurant & Wine Tasting Room Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and elevate the guest experience. This role requires a strong background in hospitality management and a deep appreciation for wine service and education. You will also be expected to work weekends and after hours on occasions for events and weddings so time management is a big aspect.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant and tasting room
- Ensure smooth service, high standards, and consistent guest satisfaction
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Ordering and reconning stock related to the restaurant.
- Educate guests about wine selections, pairings, and tasting notes
- Manage wine inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Guest Experience
- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and professional hospitality
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively
- Build relationships with regular customers and wine club members
- Proven ability to manage inventory, budgets, and staff performance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
