Babylonstoren has an exciting new position for a cellar assistant to join the cellar team.
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 · 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a cellar environment
· Valid forklift licence will be to your advantage
· SKOP 1, 2 and 3 will be to your advantage
· Good interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of the winemaking process
· Willingness to work overtime, night shift and over weekends when operationally required
Duties
· Wine cellar activities
· General cellar work
· Health & safety and housekeeping according to audit compliance
· Assisting with bottling and labelling
