Our client, a dynamic outfit offering a wide range of wine-related solutions, is looking to appoint an operations manager.
This position, a.k.a. chief-everything-works-officer, is aimed at bringing order to daily chaos. You will run daily operations like a well-oiled machine, which means you are a wizard at planning! You will plan, execute & oversee daily operations in line with customer requirements and specifications. This will range from warehousing, logistics, reworks, export-related activities & most certainly, customer liaison.
You will be a natural problem solver with serious organizational flair. Equal part strategist and doer. Comfortable to function in a dynamic environment where every customer is important, even on the days when they expect the impossible. Your people’s skills will combine strong leadership with clear communication, empathy and the ability to foster a safety-first culture amongst your team. And, finally, you will be obsessed with efficiency, detail & getting things right!
Wine industry experience will be highly advantageous. Passion for wine, even better.
