Our client, a leading South African restaurant reservation and table management system provider, is looking to appoint a sales development representative.
As a sales development representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients and play a key role in building the sales pipeline. Your focus will be on finding, qualifying, and booking high-quality opportunities for the sales executives.
This is not an entry-level role — we’re looking for someone confident, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential restaurant clients
- Reach out via calls, email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp
- Qualify leads and assess if they are a good fit
- Book meetings for sales executives
- Keep CRM (HubSpot) updated and organised
- Work closely with the sales team to improve lead quality
Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of sales or sales development representative experience (hospitality industry would be advantageous)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach (50–80 actions per day)
- Confident speaking to business owners and decision-makers
- Positive, resilient attitude
