Wine-Tasting Ambassador (Student / Part-Time)

Hillcrest Wine Estate is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Wine-Tasting Ambassador to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Key responsibilities but not limited toe:

• Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional experience in the Hillcrest Wine Estate Tasting Room
• Presenting wine tastings and olive tastings
• Assisting with wine and olive sales
• Providing guests with information about Hillcrest Wine Estate and its products

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years and older
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent in  English and Afrikaans (spoken and written); a third language will be advantageous
• Sound knowledge of wine (experience in a similar role will be beneficial)
• Knowledge of olives will be advantageous
• General knowledge of Durbanville, South Africa, as well as the wine and tourism industries
• Computer literacy
• Own reliable transport
• Willingness to work scheduled weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), school holidays, and public holidays
