We are on the lookout for an energetic, people-loving tourism consultant to be the friendly face of the destination. You’ll be the go-to insider — helping visitors discover the best wine, food, stays, and experiences the region has to offer.
Duties:
- welcoming visitors and sharing local gems
- recommending top wine farms, restaurants & experiences
- planning itineraries and assisting with bookings
- supporting events, activations & campaigns
- handling enquiries (in person, phone & email)
- building great relationships with local partners
Requirements:
- have a thorough knowledge of what Stellenbosch has to offer
- experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service
- computer literacy and administrative skills
- self-starter with great energy
- love people and delivering top-tier service
- organised, reliable, and solutions-driven
Working hours:
- based on a roster system
- Monday to Friday: 8 hours per day (excluding lunch break)
- weekend work required (time off in lieu applies)
This position will ideally suit a young, energetic individual raised in the heart of Stellenbosch, with a natural passion for people, hospitality, and creating memorable tourism experiences.
