Logistics Manager

DeMorgenzon is a premium Stellenbosch wine estate, internationally recognized for producing high-quality wines with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and excellence. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain and distribution operations across both local and export markets.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of inventory, warehousing, and distribution. This includes managing finished goods, dry goods, and  ensuring efficient order fulfilment, and maintaining strong relationships with freight partners and distributors.

Key Responsibilities: 
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee inventory control of dry goods and finished products.
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and reporting.
- Manage stock rotation and minimize losses.

Logistics & Distribution:
- Coordinate all local and international shipments.
- Manage export documentation and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all orders.


Key requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management within the South African Wine Industry. 
- Experience with SAWIS, SARS etc. 
- Strong understanding of export processes and documentation.

Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in inventory management systems - Pastel, Excel.
