Our client is an established and growing wellness operator within the luxury hospitality sector is seeking a dynamic Spa & Wellness Manager to lead one of its premium locations in the Cape Winelands.

The candidate will be responsible for the full operational management of a luxury spa, ensuring the delivery of a consistently high standard of service and guest experience.

Responsibilities:

The Spa & Wellness Manager will lead and develop the team, drive commercial performance across treatments and retail, and implement wellness initiatives aligned with current industry trends. This position requires a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable managing people, performance, and the guest journey.

  • Oversee all day-to-day spa operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain exceptional guest experience standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations
  • Drive revenue through treatments, retail sales, and wellness offerings
  • Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing spa team
  • Manage staff schedules, performance, and ongoing development
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Track financial performance, budgets, and key performance indicators
  • Implement operational procedures and continuously improve service standards
  • Stay current with wellness trends and introduce relevant offerings
  • Confident, detail-oriented, and guest-focused
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professionalism
  • Warm, engaging, and service-driven personality
  • Strong understanding of luxury wellness environments and client expectations
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience.

  • Minimum 2-year qualification in Spa, Beauty, or Wellness
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience within luxury spa or wellness environments
  • At least 2–3 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in revenue generation and retail performance
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Must reside within neighbouring areas
