Key Responsibilities

Head Chef:

  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Design and develop innovative, seasonal menus
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Manage food cost, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with senior management on guest experience and culinary direction

Sous Chef:

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Step into a leadership role in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills (essential for Head Chef)
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant culinary qualification advantageous
