An opportunity for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join a high-performing culinary team within a luxury lodge environment. This role requires a chef with a strong foundation in fine dining, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to consistently deliver refined, high-quality cuisine that enhances the overall guest experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or formal qualification in Culinary Arts
  • Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen producing upmarket or fine-dining cuisine
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star lodge or hotel environment
  • Valid Food Safety / HACCP certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a designated kitchen section, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of refined and innovative dishes in line with the lodge’s culinary standards
  • Ensure mise-en-place and section readiness ahead of each service, maintaining a seamless and efficient workflow
  • Support the Senior Sous Chef and kitchen leadership team in daily operations and service execution
  • Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the kitchen
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, tools, and machinery are used correctly and maintained to a high standard
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations in line with local legislation
  • Assist with stock control, food costing, and minimising wastage within the section
  • Support and collaborate with other sections to ensure a cohesive and elevated dining experience for guests
  • Stay informed on industry trends, techniques, and evolving culinary standards
