Key Responsibilities:

  1. Packhouse Advisory & Grower Compliance: Act as the lead quality consultant for growers and packhouses, providing training, guidance, and on-farm inspections to uphold company standards.
  2. QC Standards & Calibration: Oversee fruit inspections, supervise third-party QC staff, and contribute to annual protocol reviews. Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  3. Customer-to-Grower Arrival Reporting: Translate customer arrival feedback into actionable advice for growers. Investigate quality claims and implement corrective/preventative measures.
  4. Learning & Development: Build expertise in QC systems, advanced Excel, and Office 365 tools. Participate in technical meetings and contribute to personal growth initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in a relevant field (3–4 years)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in fruit quality control
  • 2–3 years’ experience in regional QC management/advisory
  • Soft fruit industry experience (desirable)
  • Advanced QC processes, data analysis, fruit specifications, and inspection protocols
