About the Role
A well‑established wine farm in Stellenbosch is seeking a reliable General Worker / Staff Transport Driver to join our team. The role combines daily farm labour with responsibility for safely transporting staff to and from the farm.
This position is ideal for someone who is hardworking, flexible, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Daily general farm work, including:

Vineyard and cellar support

Cleaning, maintenance, and ad‑hoc labour tasks

Assisting with harvest activities
-
Safely transporting staff to and from the farm according to scheduled pick‑up and drop‑off times

Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and serviced on time

Reporting any mechanical issues immediately

Following all road safety and farm safety protocols

Supporting supervisors with additional tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements

Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 8/B or higher; Code 10/C1 advantageous)

PDP (Professional Driving Permit) – must be valid

Minimum 2 years driving experience with traceable references

Experience working on a farm or in a labour‑intensive environment

Ability to work early mornings, late afternoons, and occasional weekends

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious

Need to reside in or near the Stellenbosch area
