We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our client’s culinary team at a renown Steakhouse Restaurant and Butchery in Stellenbosch.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong culinary and operational skillset, ability to lead and manage a brigade effectively, quality driven, a leader, stable track record and able to perform under pressure. A formal culinary education, own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence is essential. Candidates to reside in the local vicinity of Stellenbosch. 

Experience / Skill / Qualification:

* Certificate or Diploma in Professional Cookery
* Must be able to cook, with experience in a fine-dining or
premium casual restaurant
* Strong cooking skills with the ability to manage and expedite
service
* Comprehensive knowledge of hygiene and food safety
standards
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a kitchen
brigade
* Good understanding of stocktaking, administration, and
computer literacy

REMUNERATION: Competitive Basic - DOE
START: Priority Position
