Jnr Horticulturist

Wine farm in the Franschhoek area is seeking to employ a Junior Horticulturist. We require an honest, hardworking and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above-mentioned position.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
• Computer literate (specifically MS Office)
• Must have own transport
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Good organisation skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Diploma in Horticulture
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Duties include:

• Assist with general garden maintenance and activities
• Assist with various garden projects
• Assist management with the production of :
  • honey
  • olives
  • fruit
  • vegetables
  • herbs
  • cut flowers
  • nursery
  • composting and waste
• Regular inspections on garden equipment
• Assist in the daily management of garden employees
