Cavalli Estate is seeking an experienced, passionate, and service-driven Tasting Room & Wine Club Manager to lead our guest experience and drive direct wine sales.
This dynamic role combines leadership, hospitality excellence, wine expertise, and data-driven management to ensure every guest interaction reflects the quality, elegance, and character synonymous with the Cavalli brand.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within hospitality, tourism, or premium wine environments and possess hands-on experience with Commerce7.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Tasting Room Operations
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the tasting room, ensuring an exceptional, seamless, and memorable guest experience.
- Deliver premium, personalised wine tastings through engaging storytelling, expert product knowledge, and warm hospitality.
- Manage guest feedback, VIP visits, and group bookings with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation, service, and brand representation throughout the tasting room.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing hospitality team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Wine Club Management
- Oversee the management, growth, and performance of the Cavalli Wine Club.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase member acquisition, engagement, retention, and sales.
- Ensure exceptional member experiences through personalised communication and service.
Sales & Business Performance
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to support promotions, campaigns, private functions, and targeted sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, visitor trends, and team productivity, providing strategic insights and recommendations to management.
- Drive direct-to-consumer sales and maximise revenue opportunities.
Systems, Stock & Compliance
- Manage and maintain the accuracy, functionality, and presentation of Commerce7 POS systems.
- Ensure effective stock control, inventory management, and merchandising in line with brand standards.
- Uphold all health, safety, and service standards across tasting room operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' management experience within the hospitality, tourism, or wine industry.
- Proven experience working with Commerce7 and direct-to-consumer wine sales platforms.
- Wine qualification essential (WSET Level 2 minimum).
- Strong leadership and team development skills with a hands-on, service-focused approach.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and business management abilities.
- Outstanding communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for wine and commitment to ongoing industry education and development.
- Professional, confident, and polished in high-end guest interactions.
- Flexible and willing to work weekends, public holidays, and special events when required.
