Le Lude Estate, a 5-star boutique winery in Franschhoek specialising in award-winning Cap Classique, is looking for a detail-oriented Administrator to manage financial records and support daily operations.
The ideal candidate will have solid bookkeeping experience and be comfortable working across finance, inventory, guest administration, and hospitality support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration: Handle invoicing, debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and financial tracking using Xero or Pastel.
- Budget Support: Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and monthly reporting.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock and operations records using Cin7 or similar systems.
- Guest Bookings & Administration: Coordinate wine tastings, tours, event reservations, and guest house bookings, while providing general administrative support.
- Guest House Management: Manage bookings for the guest house located on the estate, coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, ensure the guest house is prepared and ready for arriving guests, and assist with guest-related requirements when necessary, including occasional weekends or after-hours arrangements.
Requirements:
- Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience (an advantage).
- Proficiency in financial software (Xero or Pastel) and inventory systems (Cin7 an advantage).
- Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.
- Hospitality or guest relations experience would be beneficial.
- Must live near Franschhoek.
- Afrikaans-speaking essential.
- Flexible and willing to assist with occasional after-hours or weekend guest check-ins when required.
