The Perdeberg Group, situated in the Paarl Wine region, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join its logistics department.
This role is responsible for coordinating local and export wine orders, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing stock administration, and supporting the seamless movement of products across domestic and international markets.
This role will work closely with the Senior Logistics Coordinator and Logistics Manager. KPI’s will include:
- Export Bulk Wine Order Coordination.
- Export Packaged Wine Order Coordination.
- Local Bulk Wine Order Coordination.
- Local Packaged Wine Order Coordination.
- Regulatory & SAWIS Compliance.
- Stock Control & Reconciliation.
- Financial & Purchase Order Administration.
- Driver Schedule & Operational Support, and all other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Matric required, a tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be advantageous;
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar logistics, export coordination, or supply chain administration role, including experience with export documentation and customs procedures;
- Experience in the wine or FMCG industry;
- Working knowledge of SAWIS and SARS customs and excise regulations applicable to wine exports;
- Excellent organisational skills paired with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Wine Online);
- Own reliable transport.
