Well established Stellenbosch Winery has the following position available:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general cellar operations and production-related tasks.
- Support labelling, bottling, packing, and preparation of stock.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks and assist with upkeep in and around the production and cellar areas.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Assist with loading, offloading, and accurate packing of stock when required.
- Complete delivery documentation and paperwork accurately when performing deliveries.
- Undertake occasional driving and delivery duties as operationally required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in cellar work, bottling, labelling, packing, or a similar production environment will be advantageous.
- A maintenance background and hands-on practical skills will be beneficial.
- Valid Driver’s License (EB or higher).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) will be advantageous.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a valid forklift license.
- Willingness to perform a combination of cellar, maintenance, stock handling, and occasional delivery duties.
- Reliable, honest, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions, work accurately, and complete paperwork correctly when required.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and fellow team members.
- Adhere to the company’s dress code and workplace standards.
