Delheim Wines is seeking an experienced and passionate Hospitality Manager to lead our hospitality operations and coordinate all events hosted on the estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Garden Restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, while managing all event enquiries from initial contact through to successful execution.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring excellent leadership, organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for hospitality and wine tourism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the Garden Restaurant.
- Oversee all event enquiries from initial enquiry to successful execution.
- Coordinate and manage corporate functions, wine launches, private events, and estate activations.
- Lead and develop the hospitality team while ensuring exceptional guest service.
- Manage restaurant and event operations, budgets, stock and suppliers.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to grow hospitality and event business.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality and events management.
- Experience in a restaurant, wine estate or hospitality environment.
- Proficient in Lightspeed POS, Microsoft Excel and Market Man.
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Able to work independently with own reliable transport.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Must be available to work at least three weekends per month and oversee all estate events.
