Delheim Wines is seeking a motivated and young enthusiastic Junior Farm Manager to join our vineyard team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about viticulture and farming and is eager to develop their management skills within a well-established wine estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of vineyard operations.
- Supervise and coordinate permanent and seasonal staff.
- Monitor vineyard health and implement best farming practices.
- Assist with irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease control programmes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Support harvest planning and execution.
- Assist with machinery and equipment management.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Viticulture or a related field.
- 2–5 years' relevant farming or vineyard experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literacy would be beneficial.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak farming periods.
