PB Liquor, a supplier of premium wines to the South African liquor market through its association with a major national distributor, has an opportunity available for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join their team based in Paarl.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, commercially-minded individual who is well organised, takes ownership, and builds strong client relationships.

Duties will include (but not be limited to): Sales Support and Account Management: Supporting key accounts across on- and off-consumption channels; Assisting with new business development opportunities; Managing e-commerce listings and customer accounts; Representing the company at trade shows and industry events; Maintaining accurate pricelists and sales records; Monitoring and reporting on sales activity and pipeline progress. Marketing coordination: Coordinating marketing campaigns and promotional activities; Planning and managing in-store tastings and activations; Liaising with designers and suppliers to manage creative and POS requirements; Coordinating delivery of POS and promotional materials; Assisting with monitoring the marketing budget and reporting variances; Keeping the marketing folder and all assets current, organised and accessible; Supporting the execution of promotional activities across all relevant channels.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related field;
  • 2–4 years' hands-on experience in a similar sales and/or marketing role, preferably in the liquor, wine or FMCG industry;
  • Knowledge of on-consumption, off-consumption and wholesale trade channels;
  • Familiarity with key retail groups and online portals (Shoprite/Checkers, SPAR, Makro, Pick n Pay, Takealot, Amazon) and/or on-premise accounts in the Western Cape;
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office) and confidence working with digital and social platforms;
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
