Chamonix Wine Estate, situated high above the Franschhoek Valley, is looking for three motivated, energetic and hands on Harvest Interns from January 2027 – April/May 2027. The successful candidates will report directly to the winemaker.
Key responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
- Wine and must additions;
- Fermentation control;
- Racking of wine;
- Pressing;
- Barrel Work;
- Grape data collection and intake;
- Yeast Preparation;
- Cellar Hygiene
Skills and competencies
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Working as a team;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Following instructions accurately;
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills;
- Productivity & Efficiency;
- Self-disciplined.
Requirements:
- Viticulture & Oenology degree/diploma;
- Driver’s license;
- Working overtime during harvest when required.
