This position would suit someone living in or near the Cape Town CBD - travelling from Paarl or Somerset West for a 3-hour evening shift is not worth the effort. If you use public transport; can you get home safely after 8pm?
The position is for 2 or 3 evening (5-8pm) shifts/month, 1 or 2 Saturday shifts (10am to 5pm) with the odd public holiday as well (10am to 3pm).

As an applicant you'll:
* ideally live near Gardens, Cape Town
* have basic wine knowledge
* be able to describe a particular wine in a fun and informative way
* be fluent in English - understanding, speaking and writing
* be confident and friendly when speaking to people from all walks of life
* be computer literate
* be reliable
* be presentable in appearance
* keep the shop and shelves clean and tidy - YES, YOU HAVE TO CLEAN
* keep shelves and fridge stocked
* taste and evaluate wines presented to you, make notes and remember what you tasted in case a customer asks
