An exceptional career opportunity exists for a strategic Facilities & Estate Manager to lead the stewardship, preservation and continuous enhancement of a prestigious wine estate in the Hermanus region.
This executive-level role requires a commercially minded leader who understands that exceptional estates are built on world-class infrastructure, preventative asset management and operational excellence. Reporting into Executive Leadership, you will be responsible for protecting a significant property and infrastructure portfolio while driving long-term asset performance, sustainability initiatives, capital projects and maintenance strategy across the estate.
The successful candidate will offer:
• Proven senior leadership experience managing facilities and estate infrastructure within a premium wine estate environment (essential)
• Extensive knowledge of estate infrastructure, utilities, water management, mechanical, electrical and building systems
• Demonstrated success in developing preventative maintenance strategies and long-term asset management programmes
• Experience leading capital projects, refurbishment programmes and contractor management
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for operational and capital budgets
• A solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and environmental best practices
• An authentic leadership style with the ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
