A Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is seeking a versatile Tasting Room/Guest House Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification with 3-4 years management experience
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Computer literacy
- Reliable
- Accountable
- Sales Driven
- Effective under pressure
- Wine Industry knowledge advantageous
- Must be able to work weekends and public holidays when required
- A valid driver’s license and own transport
- To start immediately
Tasting Room key responsibilities:
- Grow Sales: Wine, Tastings, Wine Club, Online and Visitor Numbers
- Manage, supervise and train Tasting Room staff
- Oversee daily operations, stock control and cash-ups
Ad hoc responsibilities:
- Coordinate and host events
- Assist with Marketing: Website, Wine Club and Social Media
Guest House key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations
- Staff Management
- Guest Services: Bookings, cancellations, check-ins and check-outs, guest satisfaction
- Marketing: Developing strategies to promote guest house and online presence
