Vilafonté, an uncompromising and highly focused wine brand, is looking to appoint a Regional Brand Manager to their team in Gauteng. The goal of this appointment is to further strengthen the team and their brand presence in the Off Con and On Con environments.
The right candidate will be responsible for building meaningful and lasting relationships with key trade partners and private clients. Through exceptional wine knowledge, storytelling, hospitality skills and personal engagement, the candidate’s aim will be to strengthen brand loyalty, create memorable experiences and identify opportunities to grow the brand's community and commercial relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key members of the wine trade, including restaurants, sommeliers, wine buyers, retailers and other influential industry partners.
- Developing meaningful, long-term relationships with private clients, collectors and wine enthusiasts.
- Hosting tastings, private appointments, and exclusive wine experiences.
- Representing Vilafonté at trade events, tastings, dinners and other special occasions.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce new clients and trade partners to the Vilafonté experience.
- Maintaining regular, meaningful contact with key clients and ensuring that relationships are nurtured beyond individual sales transactions.
- Working closely with the distribution partner to create exceptional client experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.
- Gathering market and client insights and sharing these with the team to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
Formal wine qualifications will be highly advantageous, but a genuine passion for wine, people, emotional intelligence and the ability to build exceptional relationships are equally important.
The candidate must be well presented, articulate, reliable, discreet, comfortable in different social environments and represent Vilafonté professionally and respectfully.
A valid South African driver's license, own vehicle and willingness to travel & work after hours is imperative.
