Seasonal - Hospitality Assistant - Guesthouse and Tasting Room

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Seasonal Hospitality assistant to join our team.

This position will involve assisting across both our Guesthouse and Tasting Room, ensuring our guests receive a warm, professional and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities - Guesthouse

* Cleaning and preparing guests rooms.
* Making beds and ensuring rooms are presented to a high standard.
* Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms.
* Restock and maintain all coffee stations.
* Assist in doing all guesthouse laundry.
* Assist with ironing.
* Assist in the kitchen with morning breakfast preperation and service.
* Ensuring guest areas are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Tasting Room

* Welcoming walk-in guests and assist with seating.
* Taking guest orders accurately and professionally.
* Assist with the preperation and serving of orders.
* Maintain a clean, neat and welcoming Tasting Room at all times.
* Washing and maintaining cutlery and crockery.
* Ensure that sufficient clean glasses are available for tastings.
* Assist the team wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Providing friendly and attentive service to all guests.

Requirements

* Previous hospitality, guesthouse or restaurant experience will be an advantage
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attentention to detail.
* A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
* Reliable, punctual and willing to assist with various duties in the hospitality industry.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.
