Super Single Vineyards is a boutique winery located in the picturesque Stellenbosckloof. Focused on site specific single vineyards we are dedicated to the pursuit of exceptional wines.
We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing manager to join our team. The role combines brand communication with hands-on sales, wine tastings, events, export coordination and sales administration.
Duties will include:
Sales and customer relationships
* Drive wine sales across direct-to-consumer, trade, agent and international channels.
* Conduct sales visits, trade tastings and wine presentations.
* Prepare quotations, process orders, issue invoices and coordinate deliveries.
Marketing and brand communication
* Plan and implement marketing activities across the SSV wine portfolio, maintaining each brand’s identity and positioning.
* Manage social media content, including planning, copywriting, photography coordination and community engagement.
Wine tastings and visitor experience
* Manage tastings and present engaging, informative wine tastings to visitors, private groups and trade guests.
* Convert tasting enquiries and visits into sales and ongoing customer relationships.
* Oversee the presentation and daily sales operations of the tasting area and farm shop.
Events and industry representation
* Coordinate participation in wine shows, festivals, trade events and promotional tastings.
* Represent SSV professionally at on-site and off-site events.
Export coordination and administration
* Liaise with international customers, agents and logistics providers regarding orders and shipments.
* Coordinate export documentation and shipment requirements with the relevant service providers.
Role requirements
The successful candidate will have curiosity for learning about fine wine, a knack for working with people and creating connections, and a love of story telling. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to manage several priorities independently. The role requires confidence in presenting tastings, attention to detail in administration, and availability for occasional weekend and evening events.
Marketing, Busniness Management or Sales related degree.
Own transport required.
