Love creating great drinks and relaxed, beautiful spaces? Join us as a Bar and Pool Attendant and look after our guests from the pool deck to the bar, making every moment feel effortless.
Blaauwklippen, established in 1682, is one of Stellenbosch’s oldest wine estates. The Manor House & Jonkershuis by Newmark is our boutique heritage hotel, where guests are hosted as if in a private home. Our service philosophy is simple: Calm, Confident, Warm, Precise.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks to a high standard
- Keep the pool deck, loungers, umbrellas and pool bar immaculate and guest-ready
- Offer attentive, friendly poolside service, including towels and guest requests
- Make sure pool rules are followed and guests are safe (no glass at the pool)
- Do daily stock counts, POS billing and pre- and post-shift checklists
- Support and train junior team members
What you’ll bring
- Matric or equivalent
- Experience as a bartender, waitron or in guest service
- Good knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails
- POS skills; Opera PMS is an advantage
- A lifeguard certificate is an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
