I’m an Italian student completing a Master double degree in Viticulture and Enology between the University of Turin (Italy) and Institut Agro Montpellier (France), and I’m looking for an opportunity as a Harvest Intern, Cellar Hand or Assistant Winemaker for the 2027 harvest in South Africa.

I recently completed my 2026 vintage at the Institut Coopératif du Vin (ICV) in France, where I also carried out research for my thesis, focusing on grape variety characterization and adaptation to climate change.

I also have almost 10 years of experience in hospitality and as a sommelier, which has taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, adaptability and working long hours in demanding environments.

I speak fluent English and French, in addition to my native Italian.

I know I still have a lot to learn when it comes to practical winemaking, but I am extremely motivated, hardworking and genuinely passionate about wine. I would love the opportunity to join a winery team, learn from experienced winemakers and contribute as much as possible throughout the harvest.

I am open to opportunities across South Africa and would be happy to share my CV, cover letter and references upon request.

Thank you very much for any opportunities, contacts or recommendations!
