Front of House Assistant

A wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ a presentable, honest, reliable and hardworking candidate for their Museum Front of House area.

Front of House Duties include:

• Cash control - Operating POS system
• Stock Control
• Ensure visitor satisfaction
• Assist with efficient management of staff
• Assisting with functions
• Assisting in the Museum Wine Tasting / Deli Area when required

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and people skills
• Previous experience in a front of house environment ( 2-3 years)
• A sound knowledge of wine, Preliminary Cape Wine Academy Courses will be beneficial, or similar wine courses
• Strong administration skills
• Fluent in both English & Afrikaans ( 3^rd language beneficial )
• Computer literate – Excel , Pos Systems
• Must be willing to work weekends and have own transport
