Our client, a Boutique Winery situated in Stellenbosch region, is looking to employ an experienced Events Coordinator to join their hands-on team.
We are looking for an Events Coordinator who is strong in decision-making, communication; strong administrative abilities, and meticulous about attention to detail. You will flourish in your role if you are an excellent planner with a go-getter personality. The current events team is hands-on and experienced.
Previous experience specifically in coordinating weddings, corporate events, conferences, and special niche occasions essential. Own reliable transport preferred.
• Events Management qualification or similar
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
• Be able to work under pressure
• Must have good organisation and communication skills
• Must have previous experience with stock control and staff management and supplier liaison
• Own Transport and driver’s license
• Able to work flexible hours
• Applicants must reside in the Winelands area
Examples of Key Responsibilities:
• Client Liaison : Receiving enquiries / Sending out packages and information
• Site Visits / Event Quotations / All Event related administration
• Overseeing Venue items and keeping control of stock / keeping a check on venues and surrounds and informing maintenance of any issues
• On the day Event operations management including liaison with suppliers
