Our prestigious Van Loveren Tasting Room at Klipheuwel - Kleinbrakriver is seeking a Tasting Room Assistant who has a positive attitude, is passionate about wine and the professionality to work in our Tasting Room and create exceptional experiences for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Presentation and execution of wine tastings and pairings to clients;
Driving the wine sales in the Tasting Room;
Effective stock management;
Assisting with the administration;
Responsible for cash-up procedures;
Assisting with Tasting room events;
General duties, assisting with cleaning and maintenance of Tasting Room
Minimum Qualifications and Skills requirements:
Grade 12 qualification;
Qualification in WSET / Cape Wine Academy courses will be advantageous;
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
Wine knowledge, experience and in a similar role;
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere;
Willing to work after hours and weekends;
Well-presented; Reliable, honest and dependable;
Effective and dedicated team player;
Professional, client orientated and ambitious;
Work under pressure and able to multi-task;
